Is "HE" Cheating on "SHE" via Social Media?

Hello my wonderful SHE & HEs. I was contacted by the casting office of Relativity Television. They appear to be some of the same people behind the hit show "Catfish". They currently are working on a show that some may find relatable or interesting.  It is based on women who think their boyfriend or husbands are cheating on them “ONLINE” through social media.

Apparently this is a huge problem that has become more prevalent in today’s relationships, yet few people are publicly discussing it. Currently they are working on the first therapy show that will tackle these types of relationship issues.

This is not supposed to be a sleazy talk show; it’s going to be a one hour special on a major cable network. The host will be Dr. Ramani., a licensed clinical psychologist and a professor of Psychology. She's known to have a passion for helping others to live their happiest and healthiest lives. If interested in participating refer to the contact information listed.

    1. Dear Anonymous,

After reading about your situation it is easy to see why you may be feeling torn. That is simply your gut (intuition) telling you that although you have these surge of dopamine (feel good) feelings making you feel like a school girl, this situation is not right. It will more than likely end up all kinds of wrong for you. Please don't lose sight of the fact that he is still married. Separated is not divorced. He is your sister's old schoolmate so I will assume he has known you for quite some time. Ask yourself why he thinks now is the best time to profess his feelings for much less pursue a relationship with you. If you value your heart and self respect try your best to move on from this situation that is immediately going nowhere. Like cutting of this to spite that...Hope that helps.

  5. I think another issue with modern day relationships is the trend to have open/plural relationships and the desires to experiment. This is a great post on the idea of trying a three-some and the possible effects it can have on a relationship. http://www.pqed.org/2014/11/my-boyfriend-wants-to-have-threesome.html

  8. Well, I think if your boyfriend or husband needs to cheat on you "online" both of you have a lot work to do if you want to save your relationship or end it. Because what is the point of "dating" someone you don´t know? Especially because people from Internet lie often to get attention. It´s just my point of view but it would be more helpful for people with this kind of issues to visits sites like http://sheversushe.blogspot.com/2014/04/is-he-cheating-on-she-via-social-media.html#comment-form because they´re experts.

  9. Social media has been known to put an increase in unfaithful partners
due to the number of people they exposed to

  10. For people who are morally willing to and motivated to, social media offers an unprecedented opportunity to engage in unfaithful behavior. You don't even have to find somebody who is in your neighborhood. You can flirt and exchange sexual communication with anyone who is willing to do it on planet Earth who is holding a smartphone.
